Get to know Larraby!

Get to know our newest librarian, Larraby Fellows! Larraby began her academic career at age four when she "helped" her Mom, a first-generation college student, proofread her dissertation with red crayon. Since that time, she has fallen in love with helping students conduct research, find sources, and navigate the complex world of information.After attending Bennington College with a concentration in European History, film, and voice, she was offered a job at the college's library and was accepted into a low-residence Master of Science program in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Simmons University. After graduating, she worked as a librarian at various Vermont colleges, finally settling in at the Community College of Vermont and Vermont State College system for 15 years, where she worked as a Reference and Instructional Design Librarian. In 2022, she returned to school to earn a Master of Arts degree in Leadership Studies from Northern Vermont University. She has been at National University since 2025 and serves as the liaison to Arts & Humanities, Math & Natural Sciences, Applied Behavioral Analysis, School Psychology, and Educational Counseling.Larraby lives in Northern Vermont with her husband, two daughters, and a herd of unruly cats. In her free time, she loves watching movies, reading, gardening, and playing games with her family....
