The Dr. Eugene Bailey Rising Leader Program at the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA is now accepting applications for its August 2025 - June 2026 term.
This program invites community college and university students (sophomore or above) to serve a 1-year term on the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA’s Board of Advisors. Selected Rising Leaders will work directly with experienced board members, participate in committees, attend YMCA events, and contribute to community initiatives in Southeast San Diego — all while building valuable leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills.  Upon completion of their term, the Rising Leader will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship toward their educational pursuits.
