Major panel topics for this year’s
Maritime Risk Symposium (MRS25) are:

  • How is the geo-strategic importance of the Arctic changing and what are the implications for U.S.
  • National Defense and Security?
  • What actions are necessary to protect U.S. sovereign
  • interests in the Arctic region and what maritime
  • risk(s) are associated with these changes?
  • What are some key emerging Arctic maritime issues,
  • risks, or opportunities and how could they to be
  • addressed?


While we invite applicants to submit research posters specific to
these tracks, we encourage creativity and will consider all
applications that address maritime risk topics. As MRS2025 is an
online event, poster authors are not required to attend.
In addition, we welcome professional posters from non-students to
be shared and published. There is no master slide lay-out.
