Read Chapter 3: “Storyboards for Faster Design.” This chapter includes tips for planning your presentation and a series of sample slides.
Read Chapter 4: “Render: PowerPoint Tips, Tricks, and Secrets.” This chapter includes tips on style and principles of design. The rendering style should be consistent with the audience, subject matter, and the emotions you want to elicit. Avoid amateur aesthetics and avoid making a bad first impression.
Read Chapter 5: “Render: Design Principles for Professional Slides.” This chapter is useful for accessing a hybrid of the traditional design elements and principles that are optimized for PowerPoint for professional presentations.
