How to use Google Sites
A web page specifically for school counseling plays a unique role in being able to offer information that's applicable to students, school staff, and families about different counseling modalities, counseling information (i.e., informed consent, school psychologist information), or essential mental health resources available in the community. By creating a website with counseling information, the school psychologist is providing resources to the school community and utilizing the following practice model domains (National Association of School Psychologists [NASP], 2022b):
Domain 2: Consultation and Collaboration,
Domain 4: Mental and Behavioral Health Services and Interventions,
Domain 5: School-Wide Practices to Promote Learning,
Domain 6: Services to Promote Safe and Supportive Schools,
Domain 7: Family, School, and Community Collaboration,
Domain 8: Equitable Practices for Diverse Student Populations
