Read:

• Read Chapters 6, 7, and 8 which covers counseling approaches that can effectively target student problems that have been identified as amenable to counseling. Chapter 6 describes nondirective approaches such as play therapy and sandtray techniques. Chapter 7 covers mindfulness techniques, and Chapter 8 addresses directive approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy and related techniques.
