School Counseling Performance Expectations
The School Counselor Performance Expectations (SCPEs) describe the set of professional knowledge, skills, and abilities expected of a beginning level practitioner in order to effectively lead a school counseling program for all students in an educational setting in the state of California. Prior to recommending candidates for the School Counseling Credential, the program must determine that candidates have satisfied each performance expectation and completed all requirements for the credential.
