Read:

  • Chapter 1: Introduction to the Field of School Psychology (Merrell, et al., 2022) provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of school psychologists and provides examples of practitioners' stories of their experience in the field. This chapter also includes the steps needed to become a school psychologist. (pp. 1-18)
  • Chapter 5: Becoming a School Psychologist: Training and Credentialing Issues (Merrell, et al., 2022) provides an overview of the way to become a school psychologist (education, credentialing) as well as information regarding credentialing requirements.  (pp. 84-115).

Articles
