User’s Guide to the 2015 AAMFT Code of Ethics

Caldwell, B. E. (2015). User’s guide to the 2015 AAMFT code of ethics. American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

This book takes the ethical standards and provides case examples and commentary regarding the application of the standard to the case. This will help you develop critical thinking and skills in applying the code of ethics to actual situations. Refer to this resource as needed.

CAMFT Code of Ethics

The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) is the state association for MFTs. This code of ethics is the state guide to our ethics as MFTs. This document is aligned with the AAMFT Code of Ethics, but does have some differences and more specificity.
