Description:
The primary objectives of this OER project will be to create accessible, easily comprehensible, and multimodal learning content that integrates seminal resources with empirical illustrations of concepts. This will make the OER relatable to students pursuing doctoral research across disciplines and address the diverse learning preferences of traditional and non-traditional students. The resource will be focused on generating a nuanced understanding of: 1) the nature of qualitative inquiry as inductive, emergent, patterned, causational, and thematic; 2) the different qualitative epistemologies and tenets of naturalistic inquiry; and 3) the liminality in the role of the researcher in data collection and analysis.
