This handout offers a helpful guide to considerations for alignment between the problem, purpose, and questions. Although the document is written from a dissertation perspective, it is appropriate for applied studies or projects.
ADE Proposal and Manuscript Template (school-specific)
Each school at NU has its own ADE Proposal and Manuscript Template that contains information about the contents of each section and subsection, as well as the correct formatting for the document. Be sure that you are using your ADE Proposal and Manuscript Template (school-specific) located in the AD Center(CTL).

Randolph, J. J. (2009). A guide to writing the dissertation literature review. Practical Assessment, Research & Evaluation, 14(13), 1-13.
The author discusses the importance of understanding the literature surrounding the research problem and provides several taxonomies of literature reviews. Randolph also describes how to do a literature review.

This is a discussion of the differences and similarities in conceptual and theoretical frameworks. The authors also show the role of a literature review and conceptual/theoretical frameworks in developing qualitative or quantitative proposals.
