This study looked at the effectiveness of the PLISSIT model when evaluating women’s sexual satisfaction, and the authors recommend using the model to increase women’s satisfaction with sex.

This article looks at what was formally called dyspareunia and is now Genito-Pelvic Pain/Penetration Disorder in the DSM 5, exploring tools to help from a nursing perspective. It’s useful for therapist’s as it has a nicely laid out description of the PLISSIT model.
