Organizational Security: A Conceptual Framework and Implementation IssuesYasin, M. M., Czuchry, A. J., & Small, M. H. (2018). Organizational security: A conceptual framework and implementation issues. Competition Forum, 16(1), 38–49.
Organizations' security issues and risks are required to move from an internal orientation to one that must understand the effect of both internal and external forces as they transition from a closed-system to an open-system model. Organizations are encouraged to take a more comprehensive approach to organizational security, including physical and human asset security, information security, process security, cybersecurity, and, in some cases, national security, to counter this transition. The research discussed in this paper proposes a conceptual framework for integrating these diverse, yet interconnected facets of protection into a holistic security model.
