The WSR pilot study of Ayurveda/ Yoga for obesity included innovative design, data collection and outcomes selection guided by the paradigm-specific concerns of Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy. The universal attributes thus inform the individuated mind (manas), as well as the five sensory capacities (sound, touch, sight, taste, smell); the five sensory organs (eye, ear, nose, tongue, skin); five motor organs (mouth, arms, legs, excretory and reproductive); and the five elements (tanmatras) of air, space, fire, water, and earth.
