Read Chapters 2 and 3.
In Chapter 2, the authors describe how to build systems and processes to reduce data issues and cleaning. This chapter offers ideas into seeing the issues before they are impacting an analysis and provides a broader understanding of why we spend 80% of our working lives cleaning data.
In Chapter 3, the authors dive more into the an overview of the impact overall data quality areas: data collection, cleaning, transformation, and testing.
