  • Read Chapter 11. Social work, as has been discussed, is a value-based profession. Understanding the values and ethical standards that underly social work practice, is essential to all phases of the GIM. This chapter presents ethical dilemmas- situations in which two or more ethical values and/or ethical standards conflict- and provides ideas for their ethical resolution. 
  • Read Chapter 16. Returning to topics covered in the earlier course, Documentation in Social Work, this chapter is an additional source of information on the importance of quality recordkeeping in social work practice.
