This is a brief video on exposures in environmental health. It reviews all areas of transmission and how it can contribute to adverse health in humans. Contaminants and exposures may exist in various parts of our lives, even areas we do not even notice, like noise and food.

This is an important overview of how the environment, including economic stability, housing, access to healthcare, health literacy, can affect health. Within these settings, exposures or contaminations, poor air quality or water, and other exposures can exist, and also significantly have an impact on people’s health. These differences and outcomes are called the social determinants of health. This will help you to understand why people in low-and middle-income countries are more exposed to contaminants and have more significant health outcomes because of these exposures

This video is a TED talk from the director of the World Health Organization. She discusses air pollution and how it is important to understand the impacts of exposures and what can happen if exposed, physically and cognitively.
