Ralebese, M. D., Jita, L., & Badmus, O. T. (2025). Examining primary school principals’ instructional leadership practices: A case study on curriculum reform and implementation. Education Sciences, 15(1), 1-15.
This study explores how primary school principals guide curriculum reform through instructional leadership, drawing on interviews and observations with three principals. Findings show that principals shape school missions through personal beliefs and policy knowledge, manage instruction via regular checks and positive feedback, and cultivate a supportive climate by fostering teacher cohesion and addressing needs. The research recommends targeted professional development and policy support to strengthen principals’ roles in leading reform.
