Chapter 10 explains the writer’s voice when writing a literature review. NOTE: Be very careful not to be carried away with the allowance of the use of “I” and “we” as explained in this chapter. “We” in editorial form is not allowed in a dissertation nor in APA scholarly writing. “I” is allowed in APA, but be aware when using it. You will want to make sure that no opinion follows the use of I in scholarly writing. Use it to explain what you did, but not how you feel or think.
