Interlibrary Loan

This is the NU Library Guide to using Interlibrary Loan, a free borrowing service provided to the NU community.

Welcome to Interlibrary Loan!

National University Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a borrowing service provided to currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff at National University. This free service allows you to electronically request and receive physical books, articles, book chapters, reports, or other resources when not available in full-text in the NU Library.

Please note that course textbooks may not be requested through the interlibrary loan service. You can't cancel a request yourself if it is still pending. You can only cancel it once it is processed.

Access Your Interlibrary Loan Account

NOTE: First time accessing the new Interlibrary Loan system? Click Set/Reset Password and enter your NU school email address as your username to set up a new password and finalize your account.

If you're a class-based student or NU faculty or staff, you will notice that our ILL process has changed, allowing you to create a personal account and make your own requests!
