Library Basic Training: Resources for Doctoral Success
Are you starting your doctoral journey at NU? Library Basic Training goes beyond Library Orientation to review the most important resources for your dissertation research.
The Academic Success Center (ASC) collaborates with faculty to support students through the process of learning and developing their identities as scholars and practitioners. In addition to supporting students in developing their written communication and quantitative reasoning skills, we provide support in the areas of research methodology, design, and analysis.
The Doctoral Center provides a collection of templates, rubrics, resources, and important information to support students completing their dissertation, applied doctoral project, or dissertation-in-practice.
During this face-to-face event, faculty and librarians work with students to answer questions, explain dissertation processes and expectations, and help gain the confidence to complete their doctoral journey. It is also a great way to meet other students and grow your support system.
