The month of June is recognized as PRIDE month in the United States to commemorate the pivotal moment in the LGBTQIA+ movement when the Stonewall Riots took place in 1969. We take this month to recognize, learn and support our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual community members, students, faculty, and staff.
NU Library values on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: We build, foster, and maintain a climate of intellectual freedom that respects and celebrates differences of identity, experience, and perspective to reduce barriers to research, learning, and engagement.
