To use Zotero, download & install the two components (software and browser plugin):
Zotero is a free, open source research management tool designed to help you gather, organize, store, annotate, and share all types of resources used in your research, assignments, or dissertation.
Zotero can run on Linux, macOS, iOS, and Windows. Chromebook use requires Linux set-up; directions are here.
With Zotero, you can do the following:
NOTE: When using any citation manager, you must always check your content and citations for accuracy and proper formatting.
Note that this calendar includes "library office hours" hosted by Tammy Ivins. These are drop-in times for general library questions, but you can bring your Zotero questions.

IMPORTANT: Provide detailed information about your Zotero issue or specific questions in the booking form.
Make sure your titles in Zotero are in sentence case (first word & proper nouns only capitalized):
Right-click on the item's title in the Info pane and choose “Sentence case”.
You will then need to capitalize any proper nouns manually, as well as any words after a colon. Learn more about sentence case
You only need to do this once, and then Zotero will always use the correct case for that item, no matter what citation style you're using.
