This article provides students with information to assist in understanding how technology policies need to be created to protect interaction with external customers and stakeholders. The sharing economy has transformed economic transactions, created new organizational forms, and contributed to changes in consumer culture. This article highlights these and other issues that are believed to deserve further attention from business ethics scholarship. The article will assist students in understanding the importance of corporate responsibility and how technology policies play a major role in it.
