Florida State University’s work within the community provides key insights on how nonprofit organizations can approach partnerships through a diverse, equitable lens. Highlighting several challenges encountered by previous researchers in the field, as well as through direct experience in a tactical urbanism program, this research highlights how critical inclusion, partnership, communication, and bottom-up tactics are essential for long-term success.
