Thornberry et al. (2018) conducted a research study to determine the effectiveness of an intervention in reducing crime among youth at risk for gang involvement. This article highlights two important directions in forensic psychology research – gang involvement and crime prevention – while also demonstrating the importance of evidence-based intervention in the field.
