Module 1 - presents the conceptual underpinnings of effective counseling. It accomplishes this by reviewing the terminology, basic listening strategies, and ways to develop your counseling toolbox, including the science behind it, the function of ethics, and the role of diversity. Module 1 will introduce you to the building blocks of integrative counseling approaches and applications via the microskills model.
