Searching the Library

Start your search with reference databases. Reference articles and encyclopedias provide great background information on various topics. They can give a good overview and can help you decide which direction to take your research.

Then move on to Books, Websites, and more! Learn more here: Searching the Library

Deep Dive into the Databases

The library subscribes to databases that contain peer-reviewed, scholarly articles.  Articles published in academic journals provide very specific information on a topic and usually contain original or new research. These articles are often peer-reviewed. Peer-reviewed articles are scholarly articles published in academic journals and go through an extensive peer-review process by other experts in the field before being published.
