National University Institutional Repository

Welcome to the library guide for the National University's Institutional Repository (IR)!

This guide is designed to provide you with an overview of the IR, how to use it for your research, how to submit your own work to it, and how to get in touch with the library if you have more questions.

What is the National University Institutional Repository (IR)?

Our institutional repository is a digital collection that serves as a centralized platform for preserving and disseminating scholarly output and intellectual property generated by National University by faculty, researchers, students, and staff affiliated with the university.

Institutional repositories play a vital role in promoting open access to knowledge by

  • providing free and unrestricted access to scholarly works,
  • enhancing visibility,
  • increasing citation impact, and
  • facilitating collaboration within the academic community.

The National University Institutional Repository houses the collections of National University as well as City University of Seattle. Students, faculty, staff, and outside researchers are able to search the catalog of submitted works which cover faculty publications, student work, and OER works produced by faculty.

The IR is managed by the National University Library.
