To work towards a clear understanding of the concepts of social justice in the field of physical education, this article provides a definition and map for the concept of social justice that can be applied across disciplines/content areas. Additionally, sociocultural issues related to participants’ social identity were collected and discussed, and a theoretical framework of neoliberal, humanist, critical, and 'post' approaches to social justice was highlighted.
