The authors argue that trial lawyers must be cognizant of the impact the Covid-19 pandemic had on potential jurors. Pre-pandemic, most people would have suffered some form of trauma in their lives at some point. Now, in the early 2020s, most people have experienced trauma recently, and failing to acknowledge that will put trial lawyers at a disadvantage.
