  • Read Chapter 8 [you are not required to read the sections on Participatory Action research as that design will not be covered in this course]. Pay close attention to the purpose, strengths and limitations of the qualitative research designs for your Lesson 3 Assignment.

  • Read p. 17 (Sample study 1.2) and p. 307- regarding qualitative narrative design for a better understanding of this specific qualitative design, including the purpose, strengths, and limitations. Consider how it differs from other qualitative designs for the Lesson 3 Assignment.

  • Review Chapters 4, 5, and 6 – pay close attention to the purpose, strengths, and limitations of the quantitative research designs for the Lesson 3 Assignment.
