Chapters 4-10:

These chapters provide an overview of the principles and techniques used for trauma therapy. They explain the central considerations for interventions used for treating various types of trauma, including the use of psychoeducation, distress reduction, affect regulation training, cognitive interventions, emotional processing, increasing identity and relational functioning, and mindfulness in trauma treatment. The text is updated to include DSM-5-TR criteria and includes case studies to illustrate how these techniques may be applied in therapeutic practice.
