In Response to the Israel-Gaza War

COLPS Students:

These are troubling times and many of us are feeling pained in response to the terror and trauma that the world is witnessing in Israel and Gaza. We have community members impacted by the terror caused and the suffering and loss of life in both Israel and Gaza.  We recognize the increase in antisemitism and violence toward the Jewish community here in the U.S., as well as the heightened Islamophobia and anti-Arab sentiment that has arisen as this situation unfolds. These events increase risk, fear, division, and feelings of disconnection due to silence and avoidance from friends and colleagues. We are committed to continued learning so we can truly support the whole you. Our diversity is part of what makes us great and greatness is most possible when we live in accordance with our values of justice, equity, and inclusion.
