Dr. Jason Weber is a Professor and Academic Program Director for the Doctor of Public Administration Program. He has held numerous academic and managerial positions in both educational and professional settings.
He earned his Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from National University in San Diego, California and holds a Post-Graduate certificate in History from the University of Oxford, UK. Additional collegiate accomplishments include a Master of Science in Intelligence Studies from the National Intelligence University in Bethesda, Maryland and a Master of Science in Organizational Management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Dr. Weber served over 20 years as an Intelligence Analyst in the US Navy in which time he promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer and was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, in addition to numerous other personal and unit awards. During his Military service he had the opportunity to experience numerous cultures and visit a plethora of foreign countries (exactly as the recruiter promised) with Ireland holding the top spot, on account of its resemblance to his childhood locale in the Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Weber is the author of a Young Adult Sci-Fi series “The Major Chronicles” which provides a pleasant balance to the authoring of what he calls more ‘traditional scholarly work’.
His experience in Public Administration comes by way of service within the Federal Sector, Department of Defense, and consultation of numerous officials serving in both State and Federal positions. His research interests include those centered on Organizational and Leadership growth to include team leadership through effective public administration.
Dr. Weber is a Life-time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and several organizations supporting On-line learning and Veteran support. He additionally is a Professor of History at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington.
