The OGSP provides support throughout the pre-post award process and encourages the use of a variety of tools and resources, when applicable, as you navigate planning and implementation efforts. Some resources are optional, and others are required. If you have suggestions or additional resource needs, please let us know so we can share best practices and tools to support your work.
Use of a decision-making tool helps to ensure objectivity when determining whether to pursue an opportunity. While use of a decision-making tool is optional, we encourage teams to incorporate this practice when evaluating a funding source. Guiding documents are pre-loaded and allow editing to tailor the tool according to funding or team priorities.
The generic budget template represents a three-year project and can be used to draft a preliminary budget. While timelines vary, your budget will need to reflect the funding period for your specific project. If your funder provides a budget template, use their template, otherwise proposal budgets completed using this template will be converted into an Excel spreadsheet prior to submission.
At least ninety (90) days prior to the end of the grant term, the PI/PD and OGSP will begin the process of coordinating with internal departments to ensure all requirements and deliverables are met according to the terms and conditions of the award.
