This section provides an overview of empirical research reports, including
Chapters 14 and 16 give insight as to design elements for rapid reader comprehension of material and offer advice as to how to review and “test” your own work before it is sent to a formal audience.
Chapter 24 gives a superstructure to empirical research reports, including recommendation reports. The superstructure presented can serve as a backdrop for your recommendation.

Search using, “famous persuasive speeches” or “famous persuasive speeches in movies.” review at least four speeches and reflect on what you have learned in this week’s readings. What made these speeches compelling and persuasive? By completing this expiration, you have a better understanding of how the process of persuasion is developed in writing and planning a speech.
