Microsoft has over 700 apps that can integrate with Teams.  Apps can be added for your personal use or added to a team.

Tabs:

You can add tabs to highlight apps, services, and files at the top of a channel giving you quick access to your favorite apps!  Click the plus icon at the top of the channel.  Click the app you want and then follow the prompts.

In a channel, you can turn a file into a tab at the top for quick access to it.
