In this week’s readings, you will explore some of the affordances and constraints of instructional design models. Exploring what others think of instructional design models, the concepts or elements that are present, and those that are missing, will help you as you design your own model in Week 5. All the assigned, required articles for the week require an intense review of design models. Keep in mind that the four we are using for class, Dick and Cary, ASSURE, Kemp, and Backward Design, are seasoned and time-tested. Reading the articles will help you think about designing your own model in Week 8.
