The ProQuest Dissertations & Theses database (PQDT) is the world's most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses. It is the database of record for graduate research, with over 2.3 million dissertations and theses included from around the world.
Content: National University & NCU student dissertations and literature reviews.
Purpose: Use for foundational research, to locate test instruments and data, and more.
Special Features: Search by advisor (chair), degree, degree level, or department. Includes a read-aloud feature. AI-generated foundational research results about the topic on the full-text page.
Search by Keywords:
When you access the ProQuest Dissertations database, select the Advanced Search function.
When you scroll down mid-page, you will see the field titled: Advisor.
In the "Advisor" search box, type in your Dissertation Chair's last name, followed by their first name.
Alternatively, you can click on the "Look up Advisors" menu to the right to browse through the list of advisors.

When you run your search, you will see the Advisor's name in the Abstract record field, as shown below:
