This article examines many of the major learning style theories, while calling into question much of the work that has been done in this area. Ultimately, new ideas are proposed in order to shift thinking on learning styles.

This article discusses a study in which instructional methods were aligned to students’ learning styles. The researcher found that when students are taught in a way that matches their learning style, then they are more successful.
