Introduction to LibApps

The NU Library and Resource Centers use the SpringShare LibApps products. This section will provide detailed policies and procedures for the following applications: 

  • LibAnswers - Build a knowledge base & FAQs, enable students to submit a question via email, SMS ticketing.
  • LibCal - Manage Library Hours, Online Event Signups, Room & Equipment Bookings,
  • LibGuides - Curate and showcase library resources. Create guides, build websites, A-Z lists, or a staff intranet. 
  • LibWizard - Build interactive tutorials and test users' research skills with quizzes & assessments modules.
  • LibChat - Live chat with students, tied to LibAnswers and ticketing. 
  • LibInsight -  Tool to gather & analyze all library statistics.

Springshare Support & Training

Springshare has some really great training resources including live and recorded webinars, guides, FAQs, SpringyU self guided learning, and the ability to submit a support ticket. These can be accessed from the black support tab in the LibApps backend, or by going to the link below.
