The group writing session on Consent Materials is for students who are doing human subjects research. In this session, you will learn how to use the NU IRB consent templates. You can receive feedback on your consent material in this session, if you are in attendance, are using the current NU IRB consent templates, and attach your document on your registration form. Please see our Consent Materials page for more information.

We suggest attending this session after you have attended the session on eligibility criteria.

Please note: please do not attend this session if you are using a consent template from another IRB or Human Research Protection Program (HRPP). We cannot provide feedback to templates from other institutions.

Register for IRB Document Review through our scheduling system below. To register, you will follow these steps:

1. Select your time zone.
2. Click the blue button for "Sign Up".
3. Fill out the registration form and attach your consent material / parental permission / minor assent. Please note that the facilitator will review one document submission per scheduled appointment.
4. Click “Complete Appointment.”
5. Save your confirmation email. Your confirmation email will allow you to cancel, reschedule, and update your registration form.

Please select your time zone first. Then you will schedule session times in your own time zone.
