During this hour, a National University Librarian, an Academic Coach, and an Alumni Navigator will guide you through the resources and tools you need for success at NU. This Zoom session is open to all students. You can work on your assignments with an accountability buddy or two and get support from an Academic Coach. Breakout rooms will be available for peer study groups and those wanting a quiet space to work.

Is your writing in need of a tune-up? Let Dr. Brian Aunkst take care of you! Join this Study Session to review your writing and formatting with a writing coach. You will work out some kinks in your writing and leave feeling more confident in your work.
Dr. Aunkst will be available to answer general scholarly writing and APA Style-related questions during this 2-hour study session. Come and go as needed between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Fridays.

Qualitative Analysis & Nvivo
Starting Oct. 19 - Saturday 12:00-2:00 pm PT
First and Third Wednesday of each Term (See ASC Study Sessions calender for dates)
The Qualitative Analysis and Nvivo workshop will help students better understand the phases of qualitative analysis and how to approach your analysis with purpose and organization. The session will promote competency in how to organize and prepare data for analysis. Additionally, the session will ensure a firm understanding of how important coding is as a foundation to the analysis process. Students will also be able to ask questions related to Nvivo, and will see examples of the coding and organization in Nvivo live in the session. The session will encourage discussion and engagement with other learners through a live guided practice activity. It is recommended you attend with an open mind and be ready to share with the group during this dynamic session!
