Reserving your session

Please use the Academic Success Center Appointment Scheduler to reserve your seat to attend any of the available group sessions. 

Review the Register tab of the Learn the ASC page for assistance with registering for scheduled coaching.

Thursday 1:00 p.m. 

Communication skills are critical for both successfully completing your courses and sharing engaging messages clearly and confidently! Join this session to gain insight on communicating effectively to help you rock your next presentation, hone your public speaking skills, understand the core concepts in your communication course, or learn strategies for clarity in presenting your ideas to an audience. Are you in MTH12A, MTH12B, or MTH204? Are you studying for the math portions of the CBEST, CSET, Accuplacer, or Praxis exams? This is the group for you! Need some company while you work on an assignment? Looking for motivation to stay on track with completing your work? Join this session to provide a structured, supportive space to help you stay focused and make steady progress on your work. Gather with fellow students in this online space to work side by side. An alumni navigator will be present to provide brief check-ins and time reminders to help you maintain focus and encourage your progress! This session offers real-time support and the motivation that comes from working alongside others.
